2G & Sand-Dressed Turf

Whilst we also install pitches that are principally designed for single sports such as hockey, our MUGA surfaces can also be used for various other sports. This pitch type is typically installed with an 18mm – 24mm synthetic surface constructed using either straight or texturised yarn. Fields are often sand-dressed, but can also be sand-filled, with both options offering a friendlier alternative to plain tarmac.

Ideal for: Hockey, tennis, netball and multi-sport applications, including football.
Benefits: Comfortable underfoot, long-lasting, excellent value for money.
Suitable for use in most weather conditions.
Suitable for: Hockey clubs, tennis clubs, schools and community venues.

3G/4G Synthetic Turf

A short pile synthetic turf court offers a friendlier surface than plain tarmac for a tennis or netball court. A longer pile surface such as our 40mm fibrillated system is ideal for five-a-side football use, whilst also allowing recreational-level hockey training. SIS grass synthetic, third-generation 3G pitches are also available for a combination of rugby, football, and Gaelic sports.

Tarmac

Can be painted and personalised. Ability to add sport-specific markings.
Suitable for: Schools, community parks and urban areas where affordability is key.

Polymeric Surfaces

Ideal for: Multi-sport courts and high-impact activities such as netball and athletics.
Benefits: Offers a non-slip, shock-absorbent base for safety, performance and comfort.
Use Cases: Popular for MUGA pitches in community hubs and sports clubs, especially where netball is a key sport.
